I would be fine with that if he wasn't running our offense.

Lost on a game winner. It happens. I really believe you would be far more disappointed with another $2.6 mil option acquired in August. This was a team loss. I really dislike singling out a single player when the TEAM has a let down. It's not like he hasn't single handedly kept us in games.

I am singling out the bench. Mo Williams is on the bench. I think he's particularly responsible for our poor bench production, but he's not the only offender. Wright has also been very disappointing, but I think he might improve if he were given an actual point guard to play with.

We need a backup SG. That's the main weakness in the second unit. J cray cray would be good right now. Hopefully CJ can fill it in.

Yup. The problem is that we're playing Mo with Dame, with Mo as the point guard, and it's really not working well. This worked great last year when Dame was paired with Maynor, but Mo is not a pure point guard like Maynor.

The problem is Mo is the most prolific scorer in the second unit. The others aren't and more facilator types. Getting a legit backup 2 that looks to score so Mo doesn't force it so much would help. We are not trading the core rotation players though, not gonna happen.

That could be CJ.... but that's the problem. We don't know, and we don't know when he'll be back.

Well we should know by next week. He's supposed to get that x-ray mid December right? He's on the sideline without a cast, and I saw him standing tonight. Maybe a month out.

How do we add a great bench player without giving up any assets?

Might not need to add anyone. Maybe just tweak the rotation a bit. I'd like to see Earl more.

Team loss. They looked tired tonight. Still say we need a veteran PF or better yet, Center.

    17-4

    No alarm. Just sucks losing;)

Whatever they don't get offensively, they better get defensively. They got it defensively versus Indiana, OKC and Utah.

It's one game but I see already people are saying just how awful Dorell Wright is.

It's one game. Keep it in perspective.

I think Dorell is a guy who needs a decent point guard OR maybe Batum, but someone who can facilitate. Playing with Mo isn't doing him any favors.

Well look dude 1) we don't even need CJ to be on every night because he's a bench player and its not like the bench is this bad every night, and 2) he's on the bench! he's not meant to be our saviour..he's meant to be gravy and he's got enough talented and is smart enough o not be a liability. Sheesh, I really don't like it when people lose their shit after one game that we lost off a prayer with 1.9 seconds left after giving Dallas everything they could possibly handle.

I think playing with Mo plays a part in it. His three usually come off great passing from our starters.

How is wanting to improve our bench, "losing my shit?"

    1) CJ hasn't played a minute this season, and we have no idea when he'll be back.

    2) We don't know exactly what he'll bring off the bench, so we don't know if he'll address our scoring problems on our second unit.

Our starting five is amazing. We are lacking that one guy off the bench that actually makes the other team pay. If we'd had that tonight, we would have won the game.

If Wes made 1 three pointer (out of 4) we would have won that game. We could use more help from the bench, but we don't need it. We just need the bench to stay consistent. CJ will help, i firmly believe.

And CJ will take who's minutes? Everyone is talking about how Chemistry is so important so why switch things up when the Blazers are winning?
