I think Asik's asking price will come down a bit. you never want to start out selling low.

He's a reserve and he can score. He fits very well with our team.

I thought this team was a championship contender? How the fuck can they be and still need a bench?

"contender" is in the eyes and homerism of the beholder, as currently constructed I think we are a lower probability contender, the right addition could very well change that

I really like Rodney Stuckey. I think he would be awesome off our bench. He's a free agent after this season, so I doubt Detroit will want to pay to keep him. It's a question of how much it would cost.

It's a question of whether we're willing to send out young guys to bring back talent that could help us win now. Guys like Jordan Crawford and Rodney Stuckey would be great scorers off the bench for us.

Umm, I think most here are cautiously optimistic about getting to the 2nd round. Maybe you are confusing this board with the gilroy garlic festival?

As teams look to solidly their tank, a lot of guys like stucky and or solid vets might be available or even waived

A little early for that right now, but I can see us grabbing a few buyout guys at least

Stuckey would be awesome off our bench. He's still pretty young, only 27 years old, and he's putting up good numbers for the Pistons off the bench.

15 points, 2 assists, 2 boards, 18 PER in 27 minutes per game.

problem is Detroit is now 10-10 in the very weak East and playing much better of late. I think they have no interest in tanking and are looking at the playoffs

is there enough minutes for him? and he will want to get paid big time next year. Very good slasher (we could use that) but lousy 3 pt shooter.

Should have paid more attention to Fantasy Basketball. I'd know more about these players. Too bad FIFA 13 get's in the way.

It's possible. I also like adding someone like Jordan Crawford. Boston is definitely tanking... or trying to tank.

this is an interesting thought, he is 6'7" and we could use another big guard/wing. How is his D? I know his 3 pt shot is not good but his FG% is solid and he a very good slasher. We have enough shooters so I would not be worried about that, but he will want a big payday next year - so the key is would we want to sign him for large bucks next yr?
