Sac up 20 on Dallas headed into the 4th. Schedule matters. Back-2-back, vs 2 days off.

Would the Kings hold the title belt at that point?

Chicago is a strong frontrunner to sign D.J Augustin, league sources told Yahoo. After Toronto release, clears waivers Wednesday at 5 pm.

How does that work? I thought the teams with the worst records get first shot at him.

Pretty effin' amazing. He may top the list of budget contracts (non-rookies) this year.

Correct, if you want to pay his contract salary. If he clears waivers, he is now a free agent and can sign a minimum deal with whoever he wants while still getting paid his original contract from TOR.

Trade of John Salmons to Toronto means only two players left in entire NBA are legitimately at risk to be amnestied: C. Boozer & K. Perkins

Edit: Damn, beat me to it El

    Nope--over by a few mill.

EDIT: Depending on who you trust, it's either 3.9M over (StoryTeller), 4.02M over (BB-ref) or about 2.5M over (hoopshype). HoopsHype doesn't have LMA's incentives in there, so I'm guessing they're low, and it's the ~4M over rather than the 2.5M

Perk not being amnestied is probably a bigger eff you by OKC to not let him pick up some extra cash after dogging it for them than anything else. ;)
