Over the last 10 games, LaMarcus Aldridge has averaged 25.9 points (4th in NBA) and 13.0 rebounds (3rd in NBA). https://twitter.com/TrailBlazersPR/status/411977068709040128
26/13 for the season would probably equal MVP, since voters are always looking for an excuse to give it to someone besides LeBron (see Rose).
That's news to me. It always looks like they are trying to find reasons to not give it to anyone BUT Lebron.
LA leads the NBA in FGs made. He's an iso beast from both mid range and the post. He's in a completely different league from the likes of Love and Griffin. It nice to see LA getting some long over-due attention because the Blazers are winning.
Honestly, LeBron should be MVP every season as long as he's healthy. He's the best player and means more to his team than anyone else. Not voting for him simply because he's already won it so many times is simply unfair. If he's reached his peak, award him every year he's at his peak rather than expecting him to get to even higher ceilings. "Paul George, congrats on the MVP award. LeBron actually deserves this over you, but he's already won it 4 times so we decided to change things up."
