I love this season, we've had 4-5 games with absolutely horrid reffing in favor of the home team and instead of letting them beat us mentally we win anyway. Lillard is a Fucking boss.
That being the case, if you're the Pistons, why wouldn't you send a big down the floor to take a stab at a long-distance heave + tip in to try to tie it? Yeah, it's a 1%-type play, but to not even make an effort?
I liked this quote from that Detroit video: "So badass how the Blazers don't celebrate and just walk away."
I noticed that also, and that's the part of the shot that impressed me the most. Big shot, big win and just a couple of high fives and off to the locker room. Lillard is such a cool cat he didn't even crack a smile. The whole team follow suit also, no jumping around and screaming or ripping shirts off, just business as usual. I keep thinking this is where we come back to earth or this is where the odds catch up with us and these guys just figure out a way to pull it out again and again. There is an attitude on this whole team right now that I don't think I have ever seen before by more than just a player or two.
