Not even then. It's OK. The more he disses the Blazers, the more the other guys stick up for us. LOL

Well, can't argue with the fact that we are more of a jump shooting team than most other teams in the league. We have the #1 offense and score the least points in the paint, so do the math.

All I know is our record is great when the game is decided by a few points. And the reason we are so good in close games is because we have better jump shooters. Points in the paint tend to get tougher down the stretch. Look what happened to us the one time we get it to LMA under the basket in the final minute.......it got rejected. His jump shots did not get blocked.

But my point is 90% of all teams rely on the jumper when the game is on the line. Our guys are used to it and do it well.

Now if they can fix the TO issue. They should not be dribbling in traffic.

Free throw shooting is much more important in close games, IMO. It's nice when the 5 on the floor at the end of games has LMA as their worst FT shooter at 79%, and Matthews drilled two huge FTs tonight at the end of the game.

I was listening to the radio last night and Stan Van Gundy thinks we finish 4th or 5th in the West.

Who cares really. Just keep getting W's and proving the doubters wrong. I doubt the players give two shits.

Players care less about most losses than fans. Wait until the Blazers lose a few games on the upcoming road trip. Mediocre Man, Carlito, and the rest of that crew will be pounding this board with negativity.

I look forward to it, as do you. We aren't going to hear from the NegaBlazers tonight, but it's just around the corner.

That is still my opinion as well. (4th or 5th). However having a 6 game lead on those two spots makes me feel better about ending up in 3rd. But we need the bench to get a little better for that to happen.

They've been waiting with baited breath for us to lose games for a while now. Its almost as if they're so absorbed in their own schtick to enjoy their supposed favorite teams success.

If you always predict disappointment you will never be disappointed.

I'm excited to hear from the NegaBlazers, and I disagree with your fortune cookie wisdom. I think those that predict disappointment are always disappointed.

If that were true then why are they always so disappointed when the Blazers win?

I'm fine with people who have their ups and their downs. I think it's normal to be up on a team and down on a team. What I find annoying and disingenuous are the people who only seem to be down on the team, and if those people come out from under whatever rock they're hiding after a couple losses, there will not be much sympathy from me.
