Didn't he pull this kind of BS a few years ago when he had that busted up finger?

Edit: eh... I guess the Lakers were trying to keep him out of that All-Star game.

I think there is a difference because Kobe played for most of the season. The injury didn't happen until around this time. But Kobe is a selfish person, so I would only suspect it still wouldn't matter to him.

The new Commissioner should really look into some formula that won't allow the decision on the player. Maybe x amount of games must be played to qualify even making the team. I remember Carter pulled this shit before as well. He didn't even play until a couple weeks before the all-star game and said that he will play.

Not sure why an MVP thread got side-tracked into an All-Star game thread. :(

LA and Dame have been on the top 10 list for a month. Much deserved. I love how Charlotte tried to slow LA and only gave him 10 points, then proceeded to be the victim of an NBA record from behind the arc for Portland. lol Dang, feels feels good to be a Blazer fan.

It's not really sidetracked. We have two players on their top ten list for MVP. The question is whether both those players will make the All-Star game.

I gave you a rep for trying to rep me last night. I was on my phone and repping people is about as hard as teenage boy in class.

So, they are both top 8 MVP conversation, and you ask whether they will make the All-Star game? The question isn't IF, because fans screw up 5 of those votes. The question is SHOULD they make the All-Star game? Yes. Of course. Obviously. Duh. What are you, stupid? (lol j/k)

I didn't read most of the game thread comments cause I was busy cheering with the fam. That game was so lop-sided, it's nice to get one of those once in a while to remind the team just how good they can be when they get their stuff in a pile.

But, "I love ball movement" with a "Rip City" underneath it would be a sweet t-shirt. Maybe a basketball falling thru a ripped net.
