Batum disclocates finger

    Yeah, I've had fingers in splints plenty of times. I'm not questioning your toughness or ability to play through it -- I'm just sayin that if having one (or more) fingers immobilized didn't affect your shooting game, your shot was either way better or way worse than mine. ;) Fingertips or no, I could never come close to 100% with either the pointer or middle fingers of my shooting hand splinted.

    Maybe I was better? :)

    When there wasn't any pick up games going on or I was alone on the court, I'd shoot 1000 free throws and always made 960 or more of them.

    As long as the finger tips of my pointer finger and middle finger were last to touch the ball on a shot, I was fine. The splints did not prevent that.

    Batum is wearing a protective splint on his left middle finger for six weeks non-stop. Will wear a splint in games for 10 weeks, he said.
