    Given the quality that is being put out, who is the one must read go to guy that you will click on every time?

    really isn't any must read, but I do tend to like Rosenthal or Verducci

    If we're talking baseball, Tim Kurkijan is very good now, and if we're talking all-time - got go with Tracy Ringolsby. Sadly, during the 70's-90's - Gammons was as great a writer on baseball as any, but once he got to ESPN and started to push his Red Sox-rooting views on TV, he lost all credibility.

    It is sad how Gammons has regresses since joining ESPN, he was great. Today, I like Rosenthal, Verducci, and Axisa.
