I want a seahawks 49ers matchup simply for entertainment purposes. I have no dog in the race but those teams and fan bases seem to hate each other and I think it would be one of the chippiest games seen in years. I fully expect a fight or two to break out. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Newton is completely outplaying him, and to make matters worse, the Niners defense isn't looking so hot (except on goal line stands).
Davis should have had two TDs by now but the throws have been bad. I have the guy on my fantasy playoff team so come on! Edit: Maybe I am getting one on the 3rd try.
Kap has been off, hope he gets on target in the 2nd. And it seems the Panthers are getting so much more pressure than the 49ers D. Yet the 49ers have 4 pro-bowl LBs and supposedly have this great offensive line. Fangio gets too soft with his rushing, sometimes he'll just rush 3 and give the opposing QB all freaking day. The niners secondary is not nearly as good as the front 7.
Panthers have gotten away with some obvious pass interference calls. That one hit on Boldin that was well before the pass got there was clearly a PI. Glad they overturned the decision on the TD. That was such a bad call. Everyone could tell both feet were in. Not sure how that ref missed that. Panthers should be up by two TD's right now. Blew it on two goal line possessions.
Come on Nate, there hasn't been a game that has gone by this season that you haven't lamented on the other team getting to play dirty. Boldin has deserved a few flags himself.
Lot of panthers fans on Twitter pissed off that the refs aren't throwing flags on the 49ers that the panthers were flagged for earlier. I'm listening to it not watching it so I don't know if there is any validity to it or not. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Boldin should've been flagged at least twice so far...jawing is one thing, but he's headbutted twice.
Yup. He should have been flagged, and they should have been flagged on the 12 men in the huddle, but the balance is still tipped towards the Panthers for non calls. Carolina is showing their inexperience. They're hitting late, they're pissed off, and they're letting guys like Boldin get under their skin.
If you're Carolina, I don't know how you can whine. They blew two HUGE goal line opportunities. They should have 14 points on the board and not 3.
How does the balance tip towards the Panthers? Both of those noncalls happened in the Red Zone on TD drives.
SF played great goal line defenses. SF looks like the better team right now. I felt like Panthers looked better in the 1st half, but the Carolina Defense has disappeared this half or the 9ers offense woke up, not sure which.
The headbutt wasn't in the red zone, I don't think. But seriously, bitching about the refs when they straight up blew two possessions on the one yard line? Really?
