How the redemption story of troubled baker Dave Dahl began to crumble. http://www.wweek.com/portland/article-21741-breaking_bread.html
Some of the comments at the end of the article are interesting. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Dave killed that guy.
I think I bought some of that bread at Winco. Mmmmmmmmmm, good stuff. Oh yeah, pretty sure he killed that guy.
You should click the link. Just the type of crazy shit you love. The comments are really interesting.
That would ruin the thread. I'm guessing the dry study from an anthropology journal is about Borneo nomads who have been forced into owning private property and cultivating wheat.
The comments section gets pretty juicy. My theory from having watched many crime shows over the years is that Dahl wanted some meth and Dailey didn't want any of it and was going to seek help for Dahl so Dahl killed him and framed it.
Possible - but it seems equally possible both were off the wagon and Dailey was killed while trying to score.
Plausible. Or maybe Dahl had him killed by one of his henchman because Dailey wouldn't give him his clothes or Escalade back?
The whole thing is a bit fishy, but as Sly points out, the comments are intriguing. But I ultimately don't think you can read into the family of the deceased's comments - there are potentially many various motivations for opening their mouths to the public.
Hard to say what the underlying story is about Dailey, but there's no doubt it's sad to see people self-destruct with drugs and alcohol. Hopefully his fall doesn't take his family's company down with him and hopefully he can get back on the wagon.
I'm thinking they were both drunk and hungry, and Dailey went and made sandwiches with Wonder bread instead of Dave's bread.
