They abuse their power and seek to expand it. In the name of knowing better than you what's good for you. http://www.theguardian.com/world/interactive/2014/jan/16/nsa-dishfire-text-messages-documents
I had no idea the NSA had that much control. Why let them monitor text messages from around the world? I thought the N in 'NSA' meant National, meaning dealing strictly with our nation, not INTERnational.
I'm all in favor of the NSA spying on the world. Inside this country they need to be controlled and their power limited. They need to follow the Constitution. Anything less is unacceptable.
But why? When are the personal actions of other countries our business? I mean i get that of some country was engaging in nuclear warhead manufacturing or mass genocide, then we'd have to step in. But under what circumstance does that require us to monitor text messages and such? I'll agree with you here.
You're naive if you don't think the rest of the world isn't actively spying on us and ours. If we were to suddenly stop spying on the rest of the world that wouldn't cause them stop spying on us. This is the information age, information is power.
I just went into the secret mod logs. Looking at yours you seem to rep Navy posts and kitten pictures.
