Harvin has played like a total of, what, 4 quarters all year? Don't get me wrong, he has playmaking ability. But I don't expect him to be the difference. How much can he really be counted on?

Peyton finally won a Super Bowl, but he's one of those guys who for many years couldn't get over the hump and really win a big game. He got his one ring. I expect he'll retire with one ring. The Bears' D the year (2006 season) they played the Colts was outstanding, and it's what carried them to the Super Bowl. But I never really felt like the Bears belonged there, and it wasn't a shock Peyton was finally able to win a big game. I thought the Bears were good, but it seemed more like a fluke they were there than anything (even though they did pound the Saints pretty good after just sliding by Seattle).

If the Broncos pull it out, I will be shocked, and I'll have to start giving Peyton more credit for his career. If he doesn't win, I'd have to say his career was more about stats than high-caliber playoff football. So, as the pundits have already begun to say, this is all about his legacy now. I expect a black cloud to follow his legacy (i.e. he will lose in two weeks).

They should start calling Harvin the "Black Jesus" with how much they talk about his return.

Supposedly, this is a short clip of it all, but according to a quick blog I read mentioning this earlier, it was like 2 idiotic fans. I meant to post it, but I hadn't seen anything else on it, so I figured it was BS until I started reading it elsewhere.

Percy Harvin will be in position to make plays against Denver's D. You can throw the ball on Denver, and Percy's speed has been evident when he's on the field this season. Even the players talk about it.

Call me a homer, but the Broncos shouldn't overlook Percy Harvin in this game. He's really fucking good.

The reason why Harvin is so huge for the Seahawks is that the Broncos have to prepare for him as well. He is the ultimate decoy for us, he allows Tate and Baldwin to have a better chance to get 1 on 1 opportunities and he just makes us a threat to actually go down-field and that ultimately makes opponent defenses respect that and not load the box. I like Lynch when other teams can't load the box.

I'm not expecting Harvin to get 10 catches and 100+ yards but he changes the game SO much.

The guy cannot stay healthy. Quite frankly, if you get more of the same from him next year, you guys should cut his ass. It's amazing how some players just can't seem to stay on the field.

    Not.

    Swayed.

I already have no doubt Seattle wins. But you won't sway me on Harvin. He's good. He's fast. He's missed a ton of time, and it's not easy to step into game mode and be comfortable when a team has played 18 games in a season, you're playing in #19, and you've played all of 4 quarters this year. Don't get me wrong. If he's your #3 (not normally, but based on him missing all this time to injury and what not), I'd rather have him as my #3 than most #3's. He's capable as a #1, so I get it. It's not like you're throwing a scrub out there. I expect he'll make the catches when the ball is thrown his way (but I'd expect that from a #3). If he has big stats, it'll really show how weak Denver's secondary is.

He was brought in to help Seattle win a SB

If he makes big plays in the SB and the Seahawks win, idc what happens in the future.

Those fans are lucky the game wasn't in Florida. They could have been shot for throwing popcorn on someone.

I think it's more the threat. I mean, the play after the fly sweep last week the NO defense was so keyed on him that Lynch just waltzed into the end zone. That doesn't usually happen.

I agree that he's not going to be the #1 option, or even the #1 receiver, in the SB. But his presence, even as a decoy, is pretty helpful.

I might have to get into this Vegas action. With bettors putting money on Denver....... it's getting pretty tempting. I know we elected Bush twice, followed by Obama twice......

But I clearly underestimated the number of idiots in our country.

Yup. Totally justifies throwing food on a guy who just blew up his knee playing football.

Let me ask you a question... if you're a Seahawk fan (which you are) and you hand a Seahawk poster to a 49er (a team that hates your team), do you REALLY think it's going to go well? I mean come on man. Common sense. It wasn't a cool move by Bowman, but give me a break.

So, even then.... by RoyToy's "it's justified" belief...... Yeah, maybe there's an argument if the same dude was the one throwing the food on him. But odds are, it wasn't.

So people are so blinded by fandom they become pretty much worthless and moral-free.
