According to the NY Daily News (and being shared on MLB Trade Rumors), the Yankees are done adding salary and are even unlikely to add salary through a trade...

^^^^ I agree, they will be done when the season is done. I still feel one more big move is coming.

I want to say I don't believe it either but who are they going to sign? They need a regular infielder and Drew is out there but they don't seem to have interest.

...I have asked several times for someone to explain the reasoning behind signing Drew to a multi year deal and have yet to get a real justification...he's in the same boat as Morales. They both turned down $14 Mil.

...as far as future moves, the moves don't necessarily have to come before ST or before opening day. One way or another, the roster as it stands right now is not the same roster we will see in August.

Exactly... what does the stacking the deck have to do with anything???

And the roster before ST is NEVER the same roster in August... NEVER, so that isn't a big stretch 59... But will there be "significant" additions... it's not really a question to if any more pieces will be added/moved... it's a question of will there be any significant moves...

...I have absolutely no idea how and why this thread has turned like this...I was responding to Jill.

...trying to figure out what you and tote are talking about.

This is what I was referring to. Folks are speculating if any more deal will be done...inferring before ST. And you made your bold prediction while expanding the window from ST to August. I don't think in my lifetime the Yanks roster in ST was the same as the roster in August.

So I again I say, remind me not to bet with the man that stacks the deck, lol!

My bad...stilling learning how to post from my tablet.

..nah, again, I was simply only replying to Jill, not anything else. She, like others, wondered about Drew. She also wondered about who the Yanx may sign and I was only saying that whatever future moves might be made, they need not be made in haste. They will likely wait until they know for sure what the staus of Tex and Jeter is, and they won't know that for awhile yet.
...and of course the roster is always different in August but I was referring to really impactful moves, not the small ones that every team makes during the year.

...we also have a tablet, but I can't get used to the "virtual keyboard"...I'll stick with my new MB Pro.
