I guess they got 2 inches of fucking snow. The damned city turned into one huge clusterfuck. http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-atlanta-snow-20140130,0,7911325.story 22 hour commutes. Sleeping inside Home Depot and CVS. THE FUCK. dumbasses.
Do you think that wouldn't happen if LA got 2 inches of snow? And more importantly, if it got ice. When I drove up to Portland for Christmas, we took the 15 out of San Diego to avoid LA, which was a clusterfuck due to a little bit of rain. It still took us 6 hours to get to the grapevine from San Diego.
I'd stay home. I mean it gets pretty fucked when it rains, but seems like it was a total systemic failure by leadership in ATL from the news reports.
This is great! UPS is based out of Atlanta. The pencil pushers down there demand drivers up in the North go out and drive in -45 degrees, blizzard like conditions. 2" of snow and their pussy faces have to work from home.
Of course, if they shut the city down and nothing happens, then they panicked. Snow and ice in areas that aren't used to them are disasters, primarily because there is little to no budge or equipment for snow removal. Atlanta could have a fleet of snow plows and drivers, and pay them for 10 years without them hitting the roads one time.
