Will the 49ers win a Super Bowl this century?

I'd take that bet. There's still a ton of pundits who believed the Niners were the better team two weeks ago. The best teams don't always win, though (I had proof of this in 2010 when my SF Giants won it all, though people backed off after they won again in 2012).

I can't believe there are people surprised by the outcome. It was so obvious the real SB was played 2 weeks ago. Most non-partial NFL fans I know all agreed.

I actually have no team. I'm not really that big of football fan. Oregon never had a team, LA never really had the team when I've lived here, so I'm not just going to come up and make up a team I want to follow.

I just know teams and cities which have sports teams I don't like, and that includes Seattle and SF.

Anyone with a clue about football knew Denver was going to get worked by whichever team won the NFC Championship. I said that before the NFC Championship Game, and I said it after the game, when I gave Seattle props. It was a poke at the morons that really are in disbelief by the way the SB worked itself out. It's no different than what all the analysts and Blazers fans were saying back in 2000 when it was LA-Portland and we choked. Everyone had that series pegged as the real Finals, and whichever team won would go on to be Champions. If you say you didn't believe that then, you are either a liar, or two, you weren't a fan at the time.

 

Yeah, why even play the championships when the conference championships are just so much more "real".
