    I really like Deng.

I wonder what Cleveland would want for him.

I ran that Knicks trade by some of their fans, and they actually think it's a pretty dumb trade for us.

They are clearly in blow up mode and I think Deng isn't part of their future due to his age. He just makes way to much money for a realistic trade. We would have to give up like 4 players: CJ, Wright, Meyers and TRob to make it work. I don't see the Cavs making a deal like that.

Fine, I really wanted to play in the snow but if you get me a flight to Indiana I'll fill in for Mo.

No third star needed as I think Wes and Nic are more than adequate and the team ball we play works very well with this group. What IMO is needed is a very solid backup PF/C and a more defensive oriented backup PG/SG who can play both positions.

They're a little jaded by their self destructive tendencies. People there seem to either love him or hate him. And most of them blame him for their troubles... which is stupid.

I'd ideally move Wes back to the bench if we could get a SG that could get to the FT and create their own shot. I think right now Wes and Batum don't put enough pressure on the opposing defenses to keep them from crowding Dame and LA.

I don't think so. He's a UFA this summer so they might lose him for nothing, and Nic/Wes are two very good starters. Toss in someone like TRob and they might bite.

Honestly, I like the idea of adding a third star like Melo. The guy can score pretty much whenever he wants. We still don't have that. LA goes through stretches where he's ice cold, and Dame still hasn't progressed to the point where he's automatic.

Lillard\Mello\Aldridge I think would be good enough for a championship. I would do it if Mello was willing to sign a 2 or 3 year deal with the Blazers.

He isn't signing for less than four years.

OK even better then. If he'd be willing to sign with the Blazers you would have to be a fool to say no.

This team has plenty of fire power in its starting lineup. What it needs is defense and a bench. Assuming you could somehow entice him to sign here (yeah, right), Anthony is an amazing offensive weapon, but he adds zero in terms of defense and he would suck up even more team cap resources, making it nearly impossible to build up the bench. Put together a bench that can produce 25-30 ppg and add a defensive specialist and this team has everything needed to compete for a title.

I say yes. I think I brought up Mello and DeRozan last summer. And Igoudala the previous year as guys I thought could take us to an elite level.

I think not getting Iggy is another regret.

Iguodala would have been a good fit, cap considerations aside. Mello would have been a disaster.

You don't know that Mello would be a disaster.

why? I don't see how getting one of the top offensive weapons in the league paired with Stotts would be a bad thing let alone a disaster.

Probably because he slows down ball movement.
