I think this falls bcack on to LA and Nic again. They both were showing quite a bit of it early in the season.

Might be able to pin it on fatigue which is really no excuse because every frickin team is tired.

 

Lopez still scoreless (0-4) after his great game last night.

 

Pull LA. He isn't bringing any fucking energy at all on defense.

 

They do a lot of loafing.

This doesn't make them a non contender.

 

I hope Terry rips this team a new one.

 

At this point, I want a fucking rim protector. Tired of watching layups.

 

Well if that's the solution, we should pull everyone.

Here's the Portland defensive formula. Take a guy who averages ten points or less on the season. Let him score several easy baskets right off the bat to get his confidence soaring. Watch him light up the scoreboard for a career high.

 

But the team has a bad habit. A habit apparently they can't break. And that is to play to the level of the opponent.

I think they feel they have a pulse on every game. As long as they have a chance to win it at the end, that's all that matters.

Frustrating to say the least

 

How often do you see LA just standing there while someone like Turiaf or Cunningham soars in for the rebound? He doesn't box out.

 

Rinse and repeat.

 

Just noticed CJ is our leading scorer at the half with 13.

He's passing the ball around too, just not getting assists.
