From John Heyman, the first paragraph says it all. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/writer...o-aid-mariners-and-they-are-kendrys-and-ervin Think he's getting a little nervous about being the guy? I guess his good buddy JayZ didn't point out that there is no other hitters in the lineup.
Small Pond, big fish, not much wiggle room, Jay-Z got his cut. Yankees need to kick Seattles butt good when they show up in late April.
Yes indeed, I think its sinking in that not only he's the main guy but the ONLY guy that this team can count on. And I agree that the team should resign Morales. If for no other reason but to give Cano some protection in the line up. Because right now he has no one. Which is why he'll probably walk over 100 times this year. My suggestion to Cano, they spent all that money on you, how about you tell the owners to take back a little of yours so they could use it on guys like Morales & Santana so you guy MIGHT play 500 ball for this up coming season. Otherwise, you made your own bed Robbie.
^^^...virtually the same thing happened to the Rangers when they signed ARod...they tied up so much money in him that it hamstrung them from making the other moves needed to make a competitive team.
Not to worry, his buddy Big Papi can take him to the betamin shop. The cycle of Arod from Seattle to the Rangers (then to the Yanks) and Cano from Yanks to Seattle is interesting. For history to repeat itself Robbie will have to turn PEDs to deal with the pressure. And in this context, it doesn't have to be roids...it could very well be antidepressants.
