And now we are down. You pretty much nailed it 71. This is the pattern against Boston. That and MANY MANY turnovers in our own zone. This is what happens when you totally control play and only score 1 goal. We better step it up again. This start after the break is murders row, and if we aren't careful we can drop quickly. Let's go.
This is what teams like Boston do to us. To a lesser extent Philly tries to do that to us as well (they just don't have as much talent as Boston). Lucic and that 4th line kill us against the Bruins.
Hank has been a roller-coaster this season. Start was awful. Then was great for a while. Then the Olympics and the big ice happened. Now he has been below average the past two games. Nash has been the same. Down, then up, now down again.
CAN WE GET A FUKKKKKKKING CREASE CLEARER PLS???? Soderberg just standing in the crease for 10 min Get McIlrath up here
This is also why it concerns you having a goalie with an 8.5 mill cap hit, 1.5 mill higher than any other goalie. I am not sure that is the recipe for a SC winner. That extra money buried into your goalie means you have to cut corners elsewhere. And that is game. When you totally out play a team and score 1 goal, it almost ALWAYS comes back to bite you. I said it before the Hawks game, but I am very concerned with this start after the break...very concerned. The Hawks win made me think maybe it won't be that bad, but now yesterday and tonight, and I am very concerned again.
This is exactly why we need a Kesler type C, Stepan and Brass are just too small and limited against this team.
Outside of the PP, the play has been in our zone the whole period. Bruins doing to us what we did to them in the 1st. Difference...they have actually scored goals.
Teams like Boston can handle many shots and have the ability to cash in....thats what they do. All those shots...one frigen goal...now we are down by two. Need more talent. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Agreed. I am tired of watching Stepan skate around and do nothing and then get knocked off the puck. Kesler might be a 60 pt guy at this stage of his career but at least he has great size and plays physical.
