The problem is we need him sharp for every game of the road trip. On the road, there's no margin for error. And he did look rusty against Denver.

Meyers will now get his chance and he has looked a bit better lately, I really hope that continues. Claver and Barton likely continue to play, all this is good when looking at the playoffs.

His stat line was really pretty good the other night. 8 points 5 rebounds in 16 minutes. That's a 16/10 with starters minutes... which would be tough since he'd get 8 fouls but whatever!

I sold my tickets for tonight's game for a bit of a profit so there is at least one stupid Laker fan who hasn't fallen off the bandwagon yet. If they hadn't sold I would have just sat out the game as I do not go to Blazer games versus the Lakers. I hate seeing locals wearing Purple and Gold. It offends me deeply and I behave inappropriately so I avoid these games. I have a tendency to beat up 8 year old boys wearing Laker jerseys. It's just not pretty.

Hopefully he can keep it up. I've been a pretty vocal anti-Myers guy around here, but i'd like him to prove me wrong.

I don't want to get cocky, but this game does seem set up for us to win, and win convincingly. I want to destroy them in the first quarter, so they mentally quit. We all know far too well what the psychology of tanking looks like.

I'm disappointed that I can't call them the Blakers anymore.

I guess I'll have to go with Golden Blake Warriors.

I took my dad to the game Kobe missed a few years ago and they beat us at the Rose Garden. My dad was 70 then and iv never really seen him upset and ready to fight someone but that night after the game some 20 year old in a Kobe Jersey was standing outside on the fountain verbally vomiting about the Lakers and my father turned and went straight for the Lakers Fan. I had to hold him back from lashing out until some other Blazer fans had a little "Talk" with the Laker fan.

At Meyers Leonard's age and current stage of development, he's bound to have a few stinker plays, and a stinker game here and there. Unlike when one of our vets has a stinker game, many people will come unglued at how he will never amount to anything. I am strongly encouraged by Leonard's recent play and I think he can be impactful off the bench by next season.

Tonight, I'm hoping for a Meyers Leonard highlight reel! :)

    (The good kind. ;) )

LaMarcus has two games to 'shake off the rust'. The Atlanta game being the more important of the two. Tonight, he should be ready to come out and embarrass the piss and purple right out of the chute, then sit back and enjoy the rest of the show!

I was driving today and I swore I saw Justin Bieber wearing a Kobe jersey.

I mean, they look exactly the same. douche-like.

Must take this team seriously. They shot 19-27 from three in their last game.

They need to play well these next 2 games to set the tone for that tough road trip.

Agreed. We need to treat this team like the team they were four years ago. If we can get that up for the L*kers, we'll blow them out of the building.

Agreed. This is the time of year when teams up their games for the playoffs.
