Why do we have to expect to do poorly? None of these games are final, so we don't know shit. Why does everything have to be final with you?

We were supposed to beat LA... Miami was supposed to beat Utah... Indiana was not supposed to lose 2 straight to obviously inferior competition, but the way you think things are supposed to go, none of that was supposed to happen "with the schedule they have".

Just let the games play all the way out. Damn. This is why talking about standings is so stupid until they actually matter. Not in December. Not in January. But late march/Early april. Until then, there's too many variables at play to talk about seeding. Save that stuff for ESPN.

Didn't say the end is near for everything. Just the 3 seed.

    Season series matters.

Do the standings for the Bucks not matter til April? They still have a chance?

This game is REALLY important. It will set the tone for the entire trip.

For us, all these games against above .500 opponents are chances for us to gear up for playoff basketball.

You have to admit chances of 3 seed go down if we lose both games.

Can't change the variable now. You don't work for ESPN.

No they don't. Too many games. Easy to see that.

Are the Bucks in the playoffs? Pretty sure all the teams I mentioned were in the playoff hunt. Don't go trying to change it now, stick to what you were trying. Unless that failed already, which it's looking like by your struggle to find loopholes that aren't there. :)

They're going to want revenge for that shellacking.

The chances of a 3 seed is going to be rough no matter how you look at it. 10 of our next 14 games are on the road 8 of them are against opponents in the playoff picture and our only "easy" home game should be against the bucks.
I'm really worried that by the time we get into the east coast road trip, which is a 4 in 5 nights road trip, the team is just going to look absolutely exhausted and we go 1-4.
If we can finish the month at 8-6 , or 7-7 it shouldn't knock us out of HC but it'll make mean we have to pretty much win our next 7 games since I think 53-55 wins will secure HC.
Even if we finish the month really bad at 5-9 I doubt we fall farther then 6th, we have a huge lead on the teams behind us and they would have to have almost perfect rest of the months to really make us sweat.

They probably also did not want to lose to Denver, but did. The Mavs are an inferior team at this point - we need to make them look like it tonight.

Are you talking about the beatdown Denver put on them? If so, I agree. Dallas will be agressive and sharp tonight.

I'm worried we'll take them lightly. The last time we put a beatdown on a team, we took them way too lightly.

Philly is probably the last one that I can think of. Who else have we played since we blew them out?

We definitely didn't take the Lakers seriously. I don't remember if we've blown them out this year.
