With the laser focus on Tanaka, Jeter and Teixeira, I really haven't paid that much vattention to the kids this year. Great question, looking forward to reading others analyses.

Nothing yet cage but its still early. I think there's still around 15 ST games yet to play. I like the two kids you mentioned though. But we'll have to see how much playing time the'll get over the next 2 weeks when the'll be a more SS games.

    Mason Williams is becoming interesting.
    Has plenty of talent/tools.

If this kid stays healthy and is motivated, the Yankees could have a gem on their hands ready to step in within a year or two or possibly this season if needed.

Solarte has been hitting and Almonte could be a factor down the road.
Almonte looks like a very good outfielder and hopefully he can hold his own with the stick.

I really hope Betances, Pineda and Benuelos soon catch EVERYONE'S eye.
If any TWO of those three realize their potential, the Yankees will benefit greatly.

I think Mason Williams who is only 22 years old is an interesting one to watch. He has lots of speed but struggled in his brief time in AA last season. It will be interesting to see how he does. He definitely needs to bulk up a bit as well.
