    so you stole somebodys name, and then changed your name? if i change my name to alex now, will it say i joined in 2006? is there a duplication glitch being exploited here?

    No, because 'Alex' account credentials are still mine. If you have your name changed to 'Alex', that's all that will change; your name.

    For all we know, 'He' could've been a bot. vBulletin had very weak protection against bots at that time.
