I think Denny has a good theory on dark matter. He should answer this. I don't know about it that much

Actually I would love to have crow (I think he studies this) should give us a little lesson of the most compelling dark matter theories. Although anyone who is well read on the subject, please speak up, I would love some explanations that don't require a doctorate.

You are taking the question too literally. The comment "no wrong answer" is referring that I seek only your opinion, not actual empirical evidence.

So what do you believe bro?

I think my unproven thing has more merit than your unproven thing.

I asked dad, he said he didn't create the universe. It's more of a long term lease.

I think that's what's really cool about this thread. It sucks people decided to make it a theist vs atheist debate.

This is an unknown topic and the only one that actually had a original thought regarding the matter was jlpk. Is he right? No! It just means he's not afraid to say what he believes to be true.

You might have better luck with a different thought experiment like Schrödinger's cat.

It's been a while Mags. How have you been?

Ah! There it is, one of the very reasons many people don't want someone of this persuasion teaching their children they are about the same as microbes.

I took my grandson on a field trip South Slough National Estuarine Reserve last year. The biologist conducting the tour did a credible job explaining all manner of things to the kids. Then he fucked it up by explaining that a local salamander was nearly the same as human beings with DNA about 98% the same. My grandson asked me about that on the way home, are we really the same as that salamander?
I told him no but that man used a trick to make it seem that way, He just used the gross scale to make you think 98% is close. Most biologist that work there are proud to proclaim their progressive values. They pretty much need to have them to get into the Marine Biology program run in Charelston by the U of O. If you use the scale that will show the differences in DNA between the races of people or even just primates, the salamander isn't even on the scale.
