That's how they play, and every team in the league knows it and they prepare for it. Referees are the ones who need to be on the lookout for it. Do not need any late game injury's, because the Flyer's cannot take losing.

That last line is awesome jam. The Flyers cannot take losing. That is like 3rd grade. What a bunch of sore loser babies. It is truly sad, and I have to think some in the league think the Flyers are a bunch of children...like enough guys be men please...LOL.

Anyway, great effort and awesome win.

8 games left. 6 against non-playoff teams. Come out with 10 points, and we would be in good shape. That would leave the Flyers needing 13 or 14 points out of their possible 20.

Big win tonight fellas. Proud of this team. And MSL and Nash didn't do much. The 4th line got it done big time.

anybody watching NHL rivals on NBC? It is rangers vs flyers. Whatever the cheap crap the flyers do now is nothing compare to what they did in the 70th and 80th.

The Rangers have to come out ready to play against the teams that aren't going anywhere. You know you're ready for the playoffs when you beat the spoiler's.

There are Flyer fans in their 50's and 60's who grew up watching the broad street bullies. To them, that's hockey. Now there kids and grand-kids, cheer the same garbage.

Hartnell and Simmons try to carry on the Flyers cheap shot tradition which is stupid and only pumps up opposing players.

Again, all the more reason McIlrath needs to be on this team and out there the last minute. Pummeling that assclown Simmonds.

Simmonds is not a hockey player. He's an arrogant cheap-shot
butcher.....sure knows how to chop. As for Hartnell,
his gums keep flappin and always attacks from behind.
Real crap. AT THE RIGHT TIME, we need to give it
    back......in spades.\

BTW....Hockey rules have changed Philly cheap shots
    since the 70s and 80s.

Simmonds can be cheap but he is hockey player plain and simple. I would love him on the Rangers

He definitely should have been suspended for that slash though

I do get carried away when I see what he does. I remember really
hating Carcillo as a Flyer. Now he's a Ranger, and he's curbed
his antics. I really believe it stems from Flyer coach & management.....
they want to restore "The Broadstreet Bully" angle to their game.

I think BY FAR Hartnell is worse than Simmonds. I have always thought that.

And yes I agree, the way they coach it over there is to be that type of player. Cheap shot when you are losing to "send a message". That is how they operate. VERY bush league.

This is where Shanny is a gutless coward. Penalize the act. Not the result. Suspend Simmonds 5 games for the slash. You will see stuff like that almost never happen.

    Bingo Dump.

That was 1/2" from being a season ending injury to our best player, with absolute intent to injure. Cant understand why it wouldn't be looked at (at least), but we all know it wont...
