    Verlander, more BB (3) than K (2)

    Definitely a Surprise

Lee- lit up for with 7 Earned Runs, and still pitching, wtf-
Strasburg- with 10 K's in 6 IP-nice, 4 Earned Runs-hot and cold, lukewarm at best
Verlander-control issues, no heat, sounds like his arm is not right, more rusty than not, carry over from 013.

Rollins Granny-who would of thought it, guess Jimmy is hot under the collar-

Standing "O" for Lyin' Braun up in Milwaukee. Fools them once shame on you, fool them twice shame on them. I'd reward his at bats with total silence.

^^^I know he'll get booed on the road and I can understand Brewers fans clapping for him, but a standing "O"?...that sends a message to these cheats almost as bad as the owners rewarding them with fat new contracts.

My thoughts exactly, I could understand the benefit of the doubt last year until his actions were exposed. But getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar a second time pretty much seals the deal.

In Pittsburgh they celebrated not only the life of Ralph Kiner as they did in NY but they also gave thanks to two former MVPs, Dick Groat & the only Pirate to win the MVP twice Barry Bonds. And he got a nice ovation.

In other news Curtis Granderson in his Met Debut went 0-5 with 3 strike outs.

LMAO...1st time I've heard "Lying Braun"...its got a catch to it. I'm stunned he was widely accepted with nary a boo, from the hometown crowd.....(I heard the reception on the Radio with Uecker)-are they all fools in Milwaukee??? Or are they all just Drunk on Old Milwaukee??? Or just naive...? Gullible to theft....? Or just plain stupid...? I can't say that, my nephew lives there, but he would toss his beer at him, so he says. I'd have to restrain the young buck...or maybe not...! Care for mustard on your Brat fool...?

Once a cheat, even in repentance, always a thief.....dare I say, Father Eck would have me in a pew all day, for not forgiving those transgressors who sin against us, however, I have a hard time with cheats, (hate to use cliches, but) "give 'em an inch and they will take a mile", if given the chance with no conscience on the shoulder, with nary a chance of getting caught again, the odds are heavily stacked against those former cheats, who have a problem; requiring Psychological Therapy...... 18% make it out clean, so says The-Journal of American Medicine, based on Dr. Surveys; of Federal and State Licensed Doctors-all included in the field, with personally involved cases. Believe it if you want, or don't, its 'no skin off my back'. Personally I've found the former to be true, in a vast life of counsel, Human Resources, Employee Assistance Programs, Family, Friends, rather once friends then acquaintances, and other Families experiences.

I had a body builder Freak in one Dept. who was driving to Tijuana, a 4 hour drive south, to obtain Decca, and other Steroids, from Mexican Dr's. He was trying to fly under the wire of a Top Secret Access Required-TSAR badge/Job, for an Advanced Development Project, aka black hole program, which he was working on. Turns out the D.O.D-Feds. were already on to him, and I wasn't. Not till I was brought in, asked what I knew, then was told what they knew, under TSAR D.O.D to Company "Priavte-RED" secrecy from the Employee, (I so much as hint to him, my, our secret, I'm fucked, out of a job, and maybe put in jail. Under a close investigation, the D.O.D. monitors all Prescriptions written in Mexico, to all American Patients, or those who have SAR or TSAR badges/jobs.

Needless to say, a network of his other buddies, who also worked on the Project, were also involved weight lifter freaks, or as they say 'body builders'. A good hard worker, who ballooned up in weight, mass and bulk in but one year, gaining 45 lbs. of pure muscle....say goodbye to work forever, and say hello to bars, bailout, then a trial. Found guilty, also added "trafficking, and racketeering, as well as "Posession of a False I.D. He was Jailed, Fined, lost his luck, his wife and kids, his career, a very good one at that, his, great paying High Tech Job, which he would never see again in his life, blackballed as a Felon.

Even with a false I.D. the fools had their real addresses on their cards, tipping off the Feds.

Is It is not against the law to take steroids for the public with a true need? Yet it is against the law to sale them, or buy them, in some cases, I don't get what I have heard at all...?????

Totus where are you to bail me out on this one?

You know Tull's Aqualung Tour was my first concert. My buddy wearing Sandals in the Great Western Forum, had the guy next to him puke onto his bare exposed toes. Glad I took the outside row seat. What a show tho'. That would be the first of over 100 concerts, from Coliseums to small night clubs, in the next 10 years. You name them in the 70s, I saw them. From the Flying Burrito Brothers, GP and Emmylou (7 times), to Led Zeppellin, Dylan, The Stones, Bowie, Jackson Browne-(9 times), The Eagles, Linda Rondstadt (all in one), to Pink Floyd, The Band, The Allman Brothers when Dwayne was still alive. CSNY, Frank Zappa my Alma Mater Friend, and Captain Beefheart, Gordon Lightfoot, to Ry Cooder, Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker's on their First Tour, Fleetwood Mac, to the Everly Brothers, Clapton, The Who, to The Chieftans, Not to mention every HOF Country and Western act, at the Luzianna Hayride in Shreveport, home of the Legendary Hank Williams (from bordering Bossier City), and also Home of Elvis First Stage Appearance. You name them I saw 'em. Not bragging just laying it out there, music like baseball, soothes this savage beast, when nothing else will.

Trivia Question, two bronze statues of two great HOF- Musicians, stand outside the renovated Luzianna Hayride, name those two, for 1,000 points, in the Bonus Round.

The City condemned that building, and locals, the world of C&W fans, blew a artery! Then paid up in taxes to see it refurbished, better than it was originally. Too many ghosts of greats, called it home.

LOL...I think I saw someone here lift it from your pocket, when you were trying to fly off the Empire State Building, Rick.

I know totus is testing it right now, for the NYPD...."you better run while you can"...

...you went to school with Frank Zappa?

...Jackson Brown's "Running on Empty" may have been the best live album ever.

...and you're right, not many people know that the founders of the Eagles were originally Ronstadt's back up band.
