Another real problem is that all those monies being paid out are by insurance carriers and not the companies themselves. As a result, they learn nothing and the core problems are never addressed.

I mean, I understand that in 'word v. word' situations it's too difficult to get criminal convictions (and for good reason), but until the company coffers are directly affected this will really never stop or be fully addressed.

Nearly all acts of sexual harassment in the workplace are also prosecutable as felony sex crimes, especially any that involve a victim of minor age.

Law enforcement in America is staffed by roughly 95% male, 5% female persons.

Law enforcement in America is staffed almost exclusively by conservatives.

Law enforcement in America is staffed to protect the 1%ers from reproach, not you or your daughter from evil.

In Oregon, a 14 year old girl can see her kind and caring 18 year old boyfriend sent to prison for 7 years and have their future lives destroyed by a sexual predator label while her boss can pretty much rape her anytime he wants with no consequences other than maybe a rise in his insurance costs.

So if I understand you correctly, you place the blame for all of this on conservatives?

    Comedic gold!

A new high in total idiocy. Thanks, Maris.

A 14 yr old girl has a 18 yr boyfriend? And he is having sex with her . . . nothing kind or caring about that boyfriend.

The blame for preferential treatment of sex offenders in the workplace falls on law enforcement personnel. Just as with spousal abuse which LEP ignored for 200 years until laws were passed to force LEP to arrest reported abusers. We shouldn't have to make laws to get LEP to do their job.

The laws are purposely ignored when a business is involved. Rape is rape. Coercion is coercion. Slavery is slavery.
