    I think Casey missed a key addition to this list: Terry Stotts. That 2011 Dallas playoff run should provide some invaluable experience for both him and the players. The mental aspect of these games surprisingly is huge.

    We've been competitive for so much of our history. Most fan bases would kill for our franchise history.

    Gotcha. And we as a fan base act spoiled; the reaction to the fourth most playoff appearances thing ("yeah well we only have one trophy") speaks to how aspirational we feel about our realistic chances. We aren't happy with attendance.

    Yes...but if they gave out Dr. Jack Jackets to those in attendance one night then I think those in attendance would be happy :p (Picture the image in your mind, over 20k strong in the playoffs standing and cheering...creating a sea of color and stripes...a image never to be seen in nature!)

    Precisely. It was the 21 year playoff streak from 83-03 that did it. It became expected.
