Well Denver did come through with a split for their 2 games...that helped HCA efforts. OKC though dropping one to the Rockets sucked quite a bit...would have made for more pressure for Houston for sure. Also the Laker game....mind-blowing shooting display by Houston (season high for the league) was nuts. :(

Still not impossible though just tighter than anyone would like...

SHORT PROSPECT SUMMARY: Houston has 4 games left and needs to lose at minimum 3 of them (stoopid tie-breaker) This will be hard to realize...basically the Timberwolves need to beat them on Friday (Love took a little injury last night too so that sucks), The Spurs need to do what they do and beat em down (again see 'motivation' concerns) and NOP needs to split the 2 games left. THIS is just part A of the equation...Portland then needs to win out against UTA (no porblem), GSW (More of a problem), and LAC (largest problem). BUT, at least UTA is the only away game.

Wow...so Houston did me a favor and dropped one to a very understaffed Timberwolves team (nice to see Harden play so many minutes too!). This loss puts them back on track for my theory of win/loss (for them anyways). 3 more to go and we need there to be at least 2 losses for Houston. Tonight is the _best_ chance for NOP to do this. (See OP thoughts on why). Go Pelicans! (Damnit that still sounds too weird)

Portland on the other-hand finally put away the Jazz in the 4th, nothing like waiting till the end of the game to really show up and express your will. I get it, you're expected to win and lack that bounce, that first step...but the Jazz came to play. Fortunate for the Blazers the Jazz's best effort seems to match Portland's lackadaisical one >.>

Houston has to lose their final two and we have to win our final two. Damn! I've been amped up for the last month for this playoff race. Do Rockets fans even know what's going on, or are they practicing flops in their living rooms during the games?

There must be half a dozen threads about the same things and probably always will be. Doesn't really affect anything though. Well home court is not going to happen now but I still say Sweep the frickin Rockets..( I've said this 3 times now on 3 seperate threads for anybody counting)
