Laughed my a@@ off when he hit that GW Salami against redneck Balfour the other night. Love to see the Rays and Price in particular have their a@@es handed to them.

    This kid is Amazing indeed.

10 HR's, a Pujols/Griffey Jr., like April. All this with Viciedo and/or Dunn batting behind Jose-Abreu. Imagine if this kid has a Modern Day Murder's Row batting behind him. What kind of damage could/would he do?

Some of these Cuban Player's are playing in another world, incredible stuff...!

A .414 Batting Avg. with RISP, and a 1.1XX OPS. WOW...!!!

PED's can be any Performancing Enhancing Drug. Even OTC Sudafed, Caffeine, Sugar Monster laden drinks. To Babe Ruth, it was all done on Hot Dogs, Beer, Cigars, Whisky and Women. A PED can be a Steroid or HGH, as well. A Steroid is a PED. But PED's are not limited to Steroids, HGH, et al.

In the 70s-80s, a PED was more Cocaine, or Amphetamines, any OTC decongestant to get jump started into a higher gear. We had this discussion in great detail, approx. a month ago, in a Thread. Totus defined more than well, in laymen's terms, from a Physics-Chemistry view point, the crux of both. You should look it up, a great Post/Thread, on clarification of both, from a real Chemistry Lab and Medical Jargon. Tom where art tho'-

I don't want to be naive at all. I doubt Steroid, even PED use is at a point of non-existent in MLB. Yet, perhaps a few, or alot less players are cheating today. Yet, I find it almost hard to believe any one would be stupid enough to wreak a career, by continuing to take Steroid/HGH, or other banned PED's. I want to believe the league is clean, yet believe a very small perecentage are still cheating. Tho' if I'm naive so be it, I think the strong majority of MLB players today, this year, are Clean.

It seems after the suspensions, publicity the issue recieved, few if any would be breaking the rules, at this point, If so, they are damned fools, who should be kicked out for life, not just a 50 game suspension, if guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt, or reason.

Mattingly, maybe a lot less cheaters today, MAYBE. None of the suspended players last year were actually caught via a test only because biogenesis blew up. So players masking agents are still way ahead of the testing. The smart players like joe mauer for example have low power totals and in contract year use peds, in his case unbelievably hit something like 35 hrs, get humongous contract then stop immediately and go back to hitting single digit hrs. The dumb ass players get their contracts, don't stop and eventually get caught via something other than the testing. I don't know if abreau is using or not but in this day and age none of the players get the benefit of the doubt from me.

As a friend of mine said back in '08, if you're major league you could be suspect.

Ryan Braun says hello...and Joe Mauer?...really?...I guess that means Ellsbury was also a one year PED user.

Let's not forget, these guys may get paid by different clubs, but they are all in the same union. If they can accuse owners of collusion, why can't the players be accused of the same thing? So and so has a big contract FA year....opposing pitcher grooves him one? Especially the meaningless solo shots that don't impact the game outcome. Let's see that analysis, post monster contract.

PED focus should be done on top performers, if anything to regain public trust. We opened this can of worms...
