While watching the Blazers straining in three overtimes, and after seeing this post from Crandc, I started thinking about my own.

Last game, I started doing everything positive and constructive around the house I normally like to put off when watching the game.

What do you do when the Blazers are in a close game? What are your compulsive habits in stressful games?

I pace A LOT and squat. When we hit a big bucket I do the Jordan jump when he beat Cleveland at the buzzer.

I like to fold laundry while watching the game.

If I did that, I'd hit my head on my ceiling.

When the Blazers shoot free throws, I cross my fingers, two crosses on each hand, and put my hands together like I'm praying, take a deep breath, and exhale when the player does. When it goes in, I pump my left fist three times.

I've been doing this since 1991.

Which brings me to my bonus question:

What are you game watching superstitions?

So far I only have to wear a blazer shirt, but I think it's a specific red one.

If I list them, they'll stop working.

Too many to count. It's why I can't watch Blazer games with people over --- they'll think I'm crazy.

I do the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway loop a few times when regular play gets too stressful. For free throws I get about 6 inches from the TV and say, "Come on, player name, make the free throw!" I've been doing it since Buck Williams came to the team in the 90s... even with my win vibes Buck missed quite a few but I'm sure I'm directly responsible for some of those wins we got.

I almost broke my toe, kicking the ottoman. I did a lot of "tiger woods" fist pump, screaming "FUCK YEAH!" after every good play. After every bad call, I was yelling every type of profanity to the TV. Almost threw my phone at the screen 5 times.

My nervous "tick" was pacing and pulling my hair back. I did a lot of praying too! HAHAHA

I guess we'll know what happened if the blazers lose this round.

I'm in England now. I wake up at 6:00am. In the game we lost, I waited until the whole game was uploaded to Broadband and watched it in its entirety. (I had to wait until 10am my time.) All the other games I get a ghetto live stream from FirstRowSports at 6am, already half way through the game. Sucks that I miss the first half, but it appears as though it's unlucky to wait to watch.

I'm either at the front edge of a chair rocking back and forth a few inches like Rain Man, or I'm on my feet behind everyone else in the room (I'm almost always the tallest) making sure I have enough space to jump around in excitement (or anger) without hurting myself and/or breaking something...

Oh, and my hat has to be in one of three categories:

    1. Opening Night hat from one of the years I had season tickets
    2. Autographed Blazers hat
    3. Courtside hat

I can't wear a hat from the same category on two consecutive game nights. I take full responsibility for the loss in this series.

At home, I try not to wear Blazers gear because I think I'm jinxing the team.
