    When PA passes and she inherits the team, you can bet this story will resurface like a nuclear sub blowing all ballast tanks. Since everything we have heard indicates she has zero interest in keeping the team, it won't really matter to anybody anyway.

    I would not be surprised to see Clyde try to buy the team. He's always wanted to be apart of the franchise in a big way.

    Maybe as a minority owner, but there is no way he has enough money to be a majority owner. He made less than $30 million in his entire NBA career and never had any big national endorsement deals. He had a shoe deal with Avia. Anybody heard of them lately? I'd be surprised if he has enough money to buy anything more than a 3% share in an NBA team. Clyde was a great player, but never had the endorsement deals of Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson. Clyde's ambitions WRT to Portland were as a paid employee (coach, GM), not as an owner.

    I spotted the story because of somebody's tweet (can't remember who it was now) and they mentioned the injunction. I can't vouch for the veracity of the statement.
