I assume it was retaliation, but why did he think he was retaliating? I've yet to see any video that shows Adams should be suspended. RoLo could have punched Howard to retaliate after Howard elbowed him, but fortunately, RoLo isn't an idiot.
I agree with this. If a huge man like ZBo actually punches you in the side of the face there would be a huge head snap.
I don't like Randolph but an "uppercut with a closed fist" ???????????????? Sweet six pound eight ounce baby Jesus. The NBA is turning into a joke. The Thunder would win anyway but damn. I'll let anyone on this board have the first punch if they hit me like that. I get a real one in return....deal?
It was a punch. Rules are rules, and they apply even for those who still stick up for the idiot Zach Randolph.
That was a push... not a punch! He should not be suspended! How is what Zbo did any different than Howard's elbow on Lopez?
Howard has hit Rolo harder than that at least 6 times in this series, and that's of course not counting all the body blows. Even so, the closed fist, the motion, and the intent are clear. Automatic ejection/suspension.
definitely a punch, in slo mo at least full speed it looked like a push though, did he get ejected from the game?
It looked to me like he quite suddenly and violently went after the guy, so after 5+ decades of watching basketball I naively assumed he had just been the recipient of an injurious cheap shot. You assume he just decided to throw away a possible championship for no reason at all. One of us is correct, and one of us is mistaken.
the truth is in the middle somewhere, im sure adams got under his skin in some way, most likely something dirty, but thats basketball not boxing
One is Dwight Howard and the other stands between Kevin Durant and the second round. I mean...isn't it obvious?
i saw some paul george snippet on the tracker at the bottom of espn about him leaving the bench last game, but missed the meat of it, any word?
He too a step onto the court and then backed up. Rasual Butler took two steps onto the court. In Stern's NBA, they'd be suspended. Silver will probably take it easy on him.
I had really thought ZBo (unlike Bonzi Wells, Qyntel Woods and other unmentionables) had finally matured in Memphis. Looks like I was wrong.
