Saw a internet presentation a while back of a 92 year old man, regular Joe playing a Tele and getting some good licks out of it. Hope I'm still playing my Ovations at that age if I'm around.
I thought Christopher Lee was already dead. Personally I liked him as Dracula better then Bela Logosi. He did some great films for Hammer (no not you Steve) Productions.
My grandfather passed away back in the early 70's at age 90+ at his passing. He was living in Port St Lucie Florida at the time, still driving, chewing tobacco, and from what I heard was still flirting with women who said he was a "handsome old coot". The man was working on the roof of his house, got caught in one of those quick Florida Thunderstorms and passed from pneumonia.
You mean to say Steve (hammer) is NOT Ed Wood's son, and is not a big Star/Actor??? No disrespect Steve'O, Ed Wood was a pioneer. Except of course his cross dressing habit. Only in Hollyweed...! Lee I believe made more movies than any one actor in the history of Tinsel Town film. Last I looked on IMDB.com, Lee had been in more than double the films Robert DeNiro has been in. Lee is one class act, or was, something like that. Wasn't Lee in his 90s when he was in Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars too?

No he did not, my mothers side of the family was West Virginia raised, my grandfather relocated to Florida when I was on my first overseas run. My first baseball game was at Shibe Park when the A's were in Philadelphia.

Steve which two did you meet? I've only met one on this list, if you call hanging over and on top of the Giants dugout, like a beached Walrus, at Old Candlestick in 67, to obtain Willie Mays Autograph. Right behind Mays, was McCovey, Marichal, Mike McCormick, Gaylord Perry, and a few others. Kids today cannot fathom that era, when I tell them of such feats. A era, when a kid could do such a thing, and NOT get thrown out of the Park. Of course the kids who saw me getting autographs were stopped by the Ushers, from doing the same thing. Yet, I got mine, and was not so much as even spoken to by Security. Truly a Golden Era for MLB fans.
