Never happen. Not our style. We need to play our game and actually finish.

The first 10 minutes yesterday could be the turning point in the end.

We get a PP goal there and we could roll. What can you do.

That is why the 1st goal Wednesday is HUGE IMO.

Jam, you nailed it. I was thinking the same thing. Flyers own the pens because they goon it up and beat the shit of them, crash the net and forecheck like crazy. Pittsburgh is not a physical team by any means.

If you get mad enough, it's everybody's style. You take offense at anyone who crosses the blue line, hit, and hit some more

I agree that is a way to beat them. I just don't think that is the way we play. Either way I strongly doubt game 4 of the 2nd round we change our game. We went the other way tonight actually.

Carcillo back in for Fast and go from there. Keep Diaz in.

The more I watch Stepan, the more I cant stand him. He is so useless, it is mind boggling. Never done anything in the playoffs ever. I gave him a pass before, since he was a young guy. Not anymore.

This team is soft physically and mentally. That's a big problem.

AV went overboard with the lineup changes. Keep Carcillo. Fast does not bring anything.

Is there any chance that CK comes back for game 4?

Yeah, but they've been physical against the Rangers ... especially game 2. The Rangers have to pay them back Wednesday. Pain, for 60 minutes!

Annnnd now here comes the schedule excuse from AV. BS. The team didn't look tired, they looked the way they always do - inconsistent with no killer instinct.

    Starting to really dislike AV.

The more I watch Nash and Stepan, the more I realize their game is more suited to the regular season. Postseason does not suit either of them.

Stepan is probably best suited as a good 3rd liner. Most of his points are garbage its not like he makes plays himself.

One other thing that kills them is the rangers defenseman CANNOT shoot the puck or at least get the puck on net consistently. I would look at least changing two d in top four next year. I know Staal has been very good this playoffs but I would look into getting a guy that can shoot and be a decent defender. Replace Stralman also. Terrible at getting the puck to the net.

Hard to say you got shut out 2 games in a row by fleury. AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!. This team needs to come out strong wednesday and take a lead and start dealing out some physical pain to these penguins which I still think they do. Unfortunately, if they don't I think for the first time the crowd is gonna make Nash realize he's not in columbus anymore. I'm waiting to see which newspaper tmo puts a picture of Nash on the back of a milk carton with the caption have you seen this man. Stepan is as soft as the pillsbury doughboy. I hope they don't even think of bringing back Kreider until we at least win another game. If they go down 3-1 let kreider heal and come back in training camp.

Another tough loss, many posts mention the mental state of the Rangers and Pitt's two goals came as a result of critical mental errors but we're not to mention that the Rangers are the first team in 25 years to play 5 playoff games in 7 days, guess we'll just chalk it up to coincidence. The Rangers looked tired to me and to guys with a lot more experience playing the game and calling the game yet they still put up some numbers.

First goal by Cindy Hank gets beat because he's too (lazy/fundamentally unsound/tired?) to put his stick on the ice and close the 5 hole. Yes Staal's lapse allowing one of the best scorers in the NHL to slip behind him was equally brutal and Cindy's scoring ability is prolific but Hank can't get beat 5 hole there. Second goal jump started by an errant hobbit pass in the wrong direction leading to another breakaway, terrible mental error by Zucc, terrible job by Richards moving in at the PP's conclusion. Every once in a while a no look Zucc pass will find it's way between the skates of two opposing defenders but more often it leads to a turnover and a scoring chance for the wrong team. Seems like every player/announcer in the know except Hank is aware that Jokinen has made the same move on every breakaway in his career. Hank played great hockey last night but just good tonight but Hank's not going to be the deciding factor in this series, Nash, MSL, Richards & Stepan need to do something.

Benching Carcillo, by far the team's most consistent player/agitator for Fast, was an absolute bonehead move by AV, just one hit by the guy keeps the MSG crowd in the game. I think Miller is a better option than Dorsett though and I would play Diaz again. Huge game Wednesday, can AV solve the PP's befuddlement? can Nash/MSL/Richards/Stepan notch a point or 3? Time will tell, hope you bring the Blueshirts good luck Chuck. Let's Go Rangers!

its obvious everybody is frustered including myself, our morale is down....... but were only down 1-2, goals come in bunches but idk if we can outscore the pens rest of series......... were going to score, but its if we can keep the pens from scoring.... a shutout by hank would help extremely at this point.... our PP is killing us, idk what happened, in the regular season it was decent, but again come playoff time everybody forgets how to play on the PP :(

Nash is right up there with a few other guys in the race for most overpaid player in the league. For whatever reason great guys come here and turn to CRAP. MSL, I was sure he would be huge for this team. Wrong again.. If Nash is an 8 million dollar a year player, Crosby should be making Michael Jordan type money.
