^^^yeah, Cano apologists keep pointing to him playing so many games every year as proving his "passion" for the game, but they don't deny the way he sometimes played in those games. Cano may be a better power hitter than Pedroia but I have to agree with Mo, ALL things considered, I'd have to take Pedroia over Cano.

...I was also interested it Mo's take on the new YS; "It doesn't hold noise, or home-team fervor, anywhere near the way the old place did," he said. "The old Stadium was our 10th man -- a loud and frenzied cauldron of pinstriped passion, with a lot of lifers in the stands. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's hard to see that the new place can ever quite duplicate that."

Then again, Mo spent most of his time within earshot of the bleacher creatures. No one does fervent passion like the non-rich. That class of fan is being priced out of games, and with them goes their cathartic fanaticism. A bunch of haves, too often distracted by some portable electronic device to actually watch the game does not create the ambiance of the 10th man.

So if I were Rick I would say...if they can afford to eat $10M on a scrub contract, just discount the damn seats and fill the stands with screaming idiots in replica jerseys, kids wearing mitts, d cup babes for the jumbotron, and soldiers just back from the sand box.

I won't and CAN'T build a case of Apologetics for Robbie's failure to hustle out of the batter's box. If MO' said it I believe it, and that's all there is to it.....!

Very interesting take on Dustin versus Robbie, no doubt cannon fodder...! Well maybe not cannons....maybe...! ? ! ? !

I've wondered as much from a Player's Perspective on the New Yankee Stadium versus Old. Wow.....I'll take some seats if they're handing them out,(not the seats, tickets..) and I'll bring a dozen megaphones and a Cub Scout group...of Colic Kids...! (Feed 'em Ricks cooking).

Peter Griffin is one hilarious Seth McFarlane creation. Family Guy, the Father of a very dysfunctional family, Peter being the chief dysfunctional character. Brian the Dog is a hoot and holler too, as is the whole cast. McFarlane at his best.
