Cooks is gonna be a monster with Brees. I hope Seattle drafts Chrichton at 40 if he is there, if not then any of the following would be okay; Marquis Lee, Xavier SuaFilo, Cyrus Kouandjo, Juwan James or Allen Robinson. Maybe at 64 we could take Seferian-Jenkins, Kyle Van Noy, Gabe Jackson, Trent Murphy or Will Sutton.
I didn't even think about Easley when the Pats drafted him. I thought he was banged up and was really gonna take a huge hit in the draft. If he is healthy he fits the Pats like a glove unfortunately.
He had torn ACL last year, tore the other one 2 years prior. Healthy, could be a good pick, but seems risky for 1st round.
rumor has 49ers trading a 2015 4th rounder for stevie johnson http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10908194/buffalo-bills-trade-stevie-johnson-san-francisco-49ers
Man, as a Vikes fan, I am STOKED so far about our draft. I love picking up an extra #5 from Cleveland for doing nothing, Barr is exactly the kind of disruptive defensive player I wanted at 8 anyway, and jumping up to 32 to snatch Bridgewater before Houston could get him at 33--genius! Plus, I'm thrilled that the rumors of trying to trade up to 22 to get Manziel didn't actually happen. I have no doubt that the Vikes' picks at 9 & 32 will prove to be significantly better than the Browns' guys at 8 & 22 (which will be the obvious comparison that analysts will make 3 years down the line). Can't wait for the next 6 rounds to unfold!
Barr is a beast! Honestly I thought he was the 3rd best prospect behind Clowney and Mack. If Bridgewater can turn into Alex Smith (Like I think he does) the Vikings will be in the playoffs quickly.
I don't even care about getting to the playoffs next year. All I want is QB stability. Aside from 5 years of Culpepper, we haven't had a long term answer under center in three decades. But yeah, I think Teddy will be solid. Assuming our O-line can be at least average, he has everything he needs to be successful. I have high hopes for him.
Cooks to the Niners would have been "check" and "mate". A receiver of his speed and playmaking abilities that can really stretch the field is the one thing the Niners have lacked for years. Boldin and Crab are very solid, but their explosiveness and ability to stretch the field quickly don't compare to Cooks (at least on potential).
Meh. Yawn. As deep as the position is in the draft, they could've found someone younger (and cheaper) that could provide what he'll likely provide next year.
This way they can go straight up BPA for the rest of the draft, especially 5 picks in round 2 and 3. I don't think he is great by any stretch but 3rd WR was a big weakness last year and now its a strength. I like Lee too though
Crapshoot. And maybe baalke isn't confident in his WR drafting skills after the aj fiasco. Fact is half of these WRs in this draft aren't gonna do shit next year, Stevie is a competent #3+ right now
After Cleveland's big moves, now it turns out that Josh Gordon is facing a season-long suspension for drugs. Good luck, Johnny Football!
Lol Dallas is so stupid. Their 2nd and 3rd for a pick thats what 14 spots ahead of them? I hope they pick a QB or the lulz
