Now you finally see what Cashman has allowed to happen here.

He has never been a general manager. He has run around with a blank check for far too long. The minors are bare and the prospects for this team heading into next year looks bleak.

Do I really need to keep reminding you guys that the boss is dead. And that Hank & Hal aren't ANYTHING like there dad. Cashman & a few other pieces of dead weight aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

...he should have predicted these injuries.

Cashman should be fired decade ago. He is hopeless. He can control his personal life how do you expect him to run the Yankee organization?

I'm sorry but when you saddle the roster with age the injuries and decreased production are predictable.

...based on what?...this is unfucking believable. Every time this team goes on a 2-3 game losing streak, the finger pointing begins...if it's not Cash, it's the hitting coach, or Girardi or Sabathia or whoever the goat du jour is. It's a tough damn division, full of .500 teams. This was predicted by many before the season even started.

...but it is quite amusing to see the carnage every time the Yanx lose...comic relief.

In a way I agree but if you keep bringing in old guys this is bound to happen, can't be surprised by it or use it as an excuse.

I don't care about last seasons prospect rankings. Last year even the youngsters were bitten by injuries. I think this organization has a pretty good standing farm system right now. Problem is with the rotation being what it is, will Cashman be forced to make a desperation move for an arm where he's taken behind the shed? I hope not but they'll have to pay handsomely for a legit arm.

...that's my point, bernie. Injuries are not by any means exclusive to the older players, never have been. Young pitchers/players throughout MLB are getting hurt and IMO, it's no more or no less often with older players. We've had a lot of young players go on the DL...we have older players who are healthy, and vice versa...and it's the same with other team as well.
...and you're right, the farm is not nearly as bad as some would like to believe...and yes, Cash will likely be forced to make a trade deadline move.

...lol...I remember as a kid, how the original "Godzilla" scared the shit out of me...terribly acted like most horror films back then...Raymond Burr (Perry Mason) was the star, if you wanna call it that.
..."The Thing" was scary too...without googling, anyone wanna take a guess as to who actually wore the monster costume?...I'll give you a hint, think Dodge City.

...yeah, I know that, but for whatever reason, why did he feel the need to change his name, but James did not?...I'm sure there's a story there.

I will have my Goat in Green Curry Sauce please....!

Me, I'm blaming the Bat Boys, shame on them for not corking the bats. Or for not being our top prospects, waiting under the eaves, like desperadoes...!
