After going to game 4 at the Garden and seeing what I saw, I gave the Rangers NO CHANCE to come back in this series. They proved me wrong and I am sooooo glad they did!
Finally they get to take a day or two off to rest. No matter who they face in the conference finals it is going to be an even more difficult matchup.
With the new playoff format, anyone know if the Rangers would get home ice against MTL? Rangers a 2 seed MTL a 3...Would LOVE to have home ice..!

If you were in that arena, and I was as well, hard to see this coming. MSL's situation changed a lot I think. What an amazing comeback.

I think it is based on points now...I think.

Pitt will make changes now no doubt. I wonder if they buyout MAF.

They will never trade Cindy. Maybe Malkin, but I wouldn't do that. Make some other changes.

With MAF in net you knew it was possible to come back and we did it. Henrik severely outplayed him from Gm 5 on and that's the difference between us going to the ECF's vs. the Pens.

To be honest, I dont think MAF had a horrible series but I can see them buying him out.

then they can trade for Talbot...jk :)

He let in a couple of softies in Gm 5/6 which really hurt, and sometimes as a goalie you have to stop the shots you're not supposed to stop, like Henrik did in Gm 7 on that deflection by Kunitz. That was the difference in the series.

I agree. I don't think he was as bad as some are making him out to be but ten goals against in the last three is all they will remember.

He wasn't usual playoff MAF, but he let up maybe 3 or so bad goals in 7 games. That isn't good.

So Richards scores the gw which will only compound their decision for a buyout.
