With the season at the quarter mark, guess who's on pace for 4 HRs this year. Yes Derek Jeter & Jacoby Ellsbury, but who else?

    Here's a hint, He's not a Yankee.

Two, Three the count, nobody on,
He hit a high fly ain't that grand.
Saw it landing the fielders glove.
And not in the outfield stands.
Damn that brown eyed handsome man.

Could be Granderson, maybe Cano, who cares what they do in their new digs.

Granderson actually is on pace for 16. And yes I know its not important I just can't help but think about Seattle fans screaming... "24M f'king dollars for a singles hitter".

I think all Yankee Fans knew once Robbie was out of the confines of the short porch in the Bronx, in the deep canyons of Safeco Seattle, his power numbers would like him, go to hell.

    Safeco is a good spray hitter's park...ala ICHIRO-san...!!!

A little play on Chuck Berrys "Brown Eyed Handsome Man" liked Chuck fine but on that tune I favored Buddy Holly singing wise.

    Classic.....

So that wasn't Marty McFly who wrote Johnny B. Goode? LOL....

Buddy was a class act, sad he didn't live to see the fruits of his labor and love of music come to fruition, and make Buddy a true American Icon, Patsy Cline, Jim Reeves-the Southern Crooner, all lost prematurely to airplane flght. (plus a ton of other great musicians, pioneers ). Ricky Nelson, Stevie Ray Vaughn (chopper crash) SRV took Eric Clapton's seat in that fatal crash. Otherwise we would of lost Clapton.

    Tears in Heaven.

And I believe it was the Big Booper who took Dion DiMucci's seat otherwise there would have been no Dion & the Belmonts.

your correct on all counts. What were they doing flying in such absurd weather up north. If I am not mistaken the flight control surfaces, flaps, slats, elevons, were frozen so much, the plane once airborne barely, had no way of controlling itself....no control surfaces functional. Why did that pilot simply say, I know you've got an important date, BUT this small plane is grounded until the blizzard blows over?

Hurry up to wait, or in this case, die. Sad History.

At this time last year Cano had twelve homers compared to one this year. That being said he's heating up and went 4 for 5 today.

Oh average wise he's there. I think he's hitting around 310. But the power numbers are dead in the water.

Dion didn't want to fork out thirty five bucks for the seat because the little addict needed to replenish his heroin supply.

Something a bit in the same vein, as Ricky Nelson's DC-3 going down. FAA reported, Free Basing Cocaine, could of been the factor which brought his plane down. Or, 2nd a short wire spark. 3rd, a wire short caused by a burning dropped free base cocaine pipe. Anyway you cut it, these legends who gifted us with great music, all chased their own haunted demons. That much is so often kept secret from the public.

Drugs, and Music to often are the undoing of each other....

    How about a silent fart? I don't give a piss about Cano's new home and numbers. I won't give a Sh-art either.
