Didn't hear it myself, but apparently Haynes on Talkin' Ball tonight said that's what he believes will end up happening.
That's putting the cart before the lottery pick broke his foot in training camp didn't see a lot of playing time so we really don't even know if he is a NBA player horse.
I really don't think he can be the point. I haven't seen anything that would lead me to believe otherwise.
Mo has been a point guard for a long time. And why not call it what it is, a combo guard who brings the ball up the floor. That's what Mo is, and that's what CJ would be, but I think we need an actual point guard.
Or...If Mo can't do it then CJ can't do it. That was the problem, Mo was adequate as a PG but not great at it. Let CJ do what he does best, shoot. If he has to worry about other things he will not excel at his strength. That is what happened to Crawford. Never should have been at the point. Played much better with the clips....at SG.
thats not what he does best though. he is a guy that is at his best when the ball is in his hands. think brandon roy.
I really like Shaun Livingston. It just depends on what he expects to make. I also like Mario Chalmers, but he might be against backing someone up.
Yeah..put the ball in his hands and let him score. Not set up his teammates, run the offense, or bring it up against pressure.
I would like to see Ridnour or Hinrich, I know both are older, but would be solid back ups, both are FAs
Hinrich plays better Def, and they don't turn the ball over a whole lot. both can make jumpers and can run a team, and really you only need to give them 15 mins a game.
