He's a great pg who is going to only get better. Also because he is still in his rookie contract he is an absolute bargain.

No trade him for Fisher. Need a Veteran back up PG to run the second unit.

They will when we give Lillard his $127 million contract after he wins the MVP.

    ROY/All-Star reserve/All-Star starter/MVP

    You're one year premature.

He'll also be able to be extended via RFA in the summer of 2016, so of course you keep him! The following summer, there will be another lockout, IMO.

yeah, Car-jumper wins it next year. See all the commercials he's in? and his dunks! he's the NBA poster boy.
Lillard has to wait one year, then he can be the MVP.
Plus he's a clipper.. After what they went through he has to win it.

I think if any Clipper wins it, it will be Chris Paul. Blake Griffin owes Paul so much money for setting him up so often for easy baskets.

Have I mentioned that I have a broner for Chris Paul?

He is due for an extension next summer. Do we want a max deal on our cap for a terrible defensive player? Better to trade him now. Think of all the assets he would fetch in return. Buy low sell high; and his stock has never been higher.

Nope impossible Chris Paul isn't the poster boy for the NBA, and he rarely dunks! Dunks put fans in the stands.! Not winning.!
    Griffin for MVP.

You're right. If he gets destroyed again defensively next season, his value may be lower, since of the upcoming contract for him. Plus, the team was much worse record-wise when LMA didn't play. Is LMA carrying Lillard?

Lillard is overrated and a faux-star who will get shut down by Beverly in round 1 of the 2014 playoffs.

Lillard hit a lucky shot to win Game 6. Let's see him end another series at the buzzer again before considering keeping him.
