Question to the old ESPN group. My memory not being what it use to be, I'm trying to remember the ladies that we had on the old board. I remember of course Bos & Cougar, but I know there were others. I just can't remember who they were. Jill your a welcome addition to the site as always but I wish you had some company. Do any of you remember any of the other ladies that use to patrol the Yankees board & what happened to them?
...that cuts it!...that's profiling ! ...I'm going to have your message board file updated to show that you don't work and play well with others.
Speaking of the idiot (BSS) I just stopped over to the reddit board to check out the posts & I couldn't help but notice that he seems to be obsessed with with. Beside his SN he has (I wash my clothes in 59s tears).
We had Rajin Cajun also, a fine elderly lady from Southern Luzianna, home of crawfish pie, file Gumbo Etouffe, Pecan Pralines, and of course the infamous Rajin Cajuns them selves, Ron Guidry and Andy Petitte,...... Others, I got to think about, other than Boz, and Cougar. Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulette-C'est Bien...!!!
One guy I've missed besides Giambino of course, is RememberMunson..... I'd more than love to see these guys back on these boards.....I know we've discussed this a dozen or more times....still, we need our own Old Timers All Star game, and some young blood, (well maybe not, unless their repsectable [of their elders] humble kids, who don't want to argue how great Ed Whitson was, or how Jesse Barfield was the 2nd coming of Babe Ruth and Clemente all in one)... Barfield for Leiter: I'd loved to of had that one back. I can tell you exactly where I was when Al took the mound for the 1st time in his Big League career, a special moment for me, recall Al was the highest touted Prospect in the Yanks Org at one time. Then they had to go and trade him, and the rest is history, including his No Hitter in Toronto-1993.
...I met both of them the last time I was at a game up there...(Sox July 4th weekend series in '08 I think)(Gardner had his first walk off in one of those games) ...both of those guys were great to hang with...we got buzzed and called Boz on one of our cell phones.
Then you had.............. Bonney mcmc YankeeInSD Frank Rizzo Rusty Span FriarBill ImSmartherThanYou dallasClark Dubbs5050 NewJerseyYankeeFan AdamCopeland MuskyHunter Blue StOney And a dozen or so others that I can't remember. The one's I don't miss are clowns like BSS, berserk & bigblue. But there was a young lady on the boards just before it closed down. Her picture was of a sexy blond though I'm not sure that was really her. I don't remember her SN though. I know that several of the old ESPN gang are on the Reddit site while many others seemed to have just moved on.
Wow, you guys had to of had the times of your life....I bet ya'll damn near burned the town down with FUN...! That is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Do you ever hear from those two Ron? I'd love to hear of the times you guys had, had to be memorable......
Has he moved on from the sports board or could you talk him into stopping by from time to time? And how about Bonney?
Rick, I remember her...she came over to MI1903 a couple times. She was a bartender in NYC, some avant garde club....that picture was really her. What was her name.....
I don't know but everybody on the board was in love with her. Or at least with the picture, & always flirted with her. I was always a little leary because for all I knew it was really some guy just laughing his ass off. And she/he was a pretty damn good poster.
...from what I remember, just before espn shut down, the poster came clean and admitted it was all a ruse..."she" was a "he" and was an alter ego of one of the usual trolls...can't remember which one.
There was the classic Christy from the main NFL board on ESPN. Some people might remember that fiasco.
