I said 5 in the other thread. Makes sense since we are talking playoff games versus regular season games.

10-20 games for that seems extremely excessive. Its not like he took a full swipe at the ref, they need to use a little common sense here.

I expect him to be gone for the rest of the playoffs....not just this series that would be a max of 11 games
I also expect Prust to be gone for the rest of this series

ZERO shot on Prust Al. If he gets a game consider that a victory. And it is a phone hearing not in person. MAX would be 2 IMO, but I say if he got a game we should be happy.

I'd be shocked if Prust gets more than 2 games.

I think Prust gets 1 for sure and maybe 2. The fact he didn't knock stepan out was not for lack of trying. Prust is a no talent piece of shit who is about as useful as wet toilet paper.

Prust is a valuable member of that team, we should know this. He is an agiator an aggressive forechecker and a penalty killer..lets not make him out to be this something less than he is..losing him would be a blow to Montreal

After Stepan's broken jaw, Prust will get a suspension for sure. The question is how many game or games.

As for Prust being a valuable member of the team, I guess it depends on what you mean by valuable. Sure he sets a tone. Throws his body around. Plays his game. No doubt. BUT he doesn't score. And quite frankly missing him is not going to really change things all that much. It is not like they are losing Pac or Gallagher.

So a loss, but nothing crazy IMO.

Carcillo needs to control himself but it wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to me. In my opinion the official was out of line grabbing him the way he did and frankly if the refs did their job on the Stepan hit none of that happens.

Yeah, with FOUR officials on ice it is a JOKE they missed the Prust hit. Should have been 5 like I said at the time. And if it was, the other BS never happens. The refs did a terrible job with that situation.

What can you do...is what it is.

Hopefully the 4 bums on ice will also be suspended from playoff work. Carcillo wasn't doing a damn thing when that inept clown Driscoll grabbed him, not his stick as has been misreported. I still think Carcillo had no idea a penalty was called on him since there was no charge or boarding on the play, an absolute horseshit call.

Al, Prust is not John scott but he is not any great player by any measure. A 4th liner who scores nothing and is there to throw checks. My guess is montreal will miss him as much as we will miss carcillo.

I think they will miss him a little more than we will miss Carcillo, but I agree with your overall point mel, I don't see this as a huge loss for 2 games for the Habs.

Didnt we go through two or three players to replace what Prust brought to this team?
