Grown Ups 2 was so bad I turned it off after 15 minutes. He's had a few decent movies the past decade, though.
I think Punch Drunk Love is the only one of his movies i could actually sit down and watch again. I haven't watched a Sandler movie in almost a decade though, unless you count Funny People.
Really? I saw the trailer for the one where he plays his own sister and thought it was fake, like a BAAAAAAAD SNL skit.
I never once considered watching that movie. What the hell were they thinking? That's nearly as bad an idea as the Bucky movie that had Nick Swardson.
I thought Sandler lost a bet to his buddies where he had to make the dumbest movie he could. I guarantee that this board could write a better movie one post at a time. I know we could come up with a better idea.
Movies I like/tolerate, in order: 50 First Dates Big Daddy Funny People 8 Crazy Nights Little Nicky The Wedding Singer Reign Over Me The rest were garbage. Jack And Jill, anyone else that would've been a career killer.
Happy Gilmore is one of the best movies ever made. I think Elbert hated it and asked why anyone would think a psychopathic golfer would be funny. I wondered how anyone wouldn't.
Mean spirited and intelligent would be fine. They just aren't close to intelligent. Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore was brilliant.
