these "all time bust" articles come out like every few weeks. Sports writers don't have much to write about. But I think it's a stupid list. Greg Oden was a much better player than Kandi and Brown, he just got hurt.
Plus if you you really go backwards "all time" to the 40s, you'll find plenty of guys that never did shit.
The case could be made that had Jordan never "retired" from the Bulls the first time, that Olajuwon never would have won a title in Houston, and Jordan could have won 8 straight titles. The world will never know, though.
Would Houston then be mocked over Portland? Or was having Hakeem take them to two Finals, and then losing to the Bulls, enough to justify that pick. It's a fun hypothetical, isn't it?
