I'm not saying make the trade. I'm just trying to offer a realistic option for making the trade. Indiana isn't going to trade Hibbert for the Blazers' bench garbage and future unprotected picks.

How many of you would take LA and Robin and trade them to Indy for Paul George and Hibbert?

I'd need to know what went down in Indiana, and whether there was an issue between the two, obviously. If they're cool, and the issue was elsewhere, then yeah, I think I might make that swap.

They socialize on bodies of water. So did the crew on The Bounty. So did Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood. :dunno:

If they just want to dump him for expiring contracts, Freeland, Leonard and Wright should come close to doing it since we're under the cap, they add up to 8.5 mil and we're like 5 mil under the cap.

    Why would Indiana do this?

Unfortunately Hibbert can't trade himself though.

I don't think Indy would do it. Who are the Pacers? They are Roy Hibbert and Paul George. I don't think they are ready to blow that up. But I would probably do it as well. I also like a package of Matthews, Batum and Lopez for the two. I don't think it's quite enough though.

What kind of deal would be able to broker on your trade machine, BG? And would you want him on your team?

Hibbert didn't want Indy to match when he agreed to sign in Portland, hasn't been happy since. Funny Nate McMillan is their assistant which makes back to back teams with bad vibes amongst the players when he's on the coaching staff. Hibbert seems to have a real dislike for some of his teammates. Never a good thing

Bynum was gone for the playoffs... and it still got worse.

    Hi Cleveland.

Not saying your wrong but still : / it's not illogical to think he had an impact on hibbert's mindset.

But it also didn't get better. I don't think Bynum was the antagonist... I think there were a few in there that tried to Heisenberg the whole situation. And by that, I mean. "Your best course... is to tread lightly".

    Yeah, I'm rewatching Breaking Bad.

I would do it. I think Hibbert is the kind of high risk/high reward trade we need to win a championship.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Rolo, but Hibbert can be a DPOY caliber center if he's in the right situation. If you put him on our team, I think he reverts back to the All-Star and we're in really good shape.

Last year Hibbert was a monster in the playoffs. 17 ppg, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks with a PER of 21. That's what we need to go with Dame and LA.

I would deal Wes/Rolo for Hibbert and then use the full MLE to sign a guy like Nick Young, Evan Turner, or maybe Trevor Ariza.
