Anyone have it? What's the coverage like in Portland? What's the 4G like?

Yes. Fine - I have not found a place in town where it doesn't work - unlike Sprint. It likes young girls and bourbon.

I have AT&T and havent had any issues with coverage in the Portland area. 4G is fast, almost as fast as WiFi.

It blows. And I'll tell you why....

I had ATT for about 15 years until I just recently switched to Verizon. Reason being, you would go to ANY sporting event in downtown portland and never get 4G Data access. Sure it would say 4G at the top of your phone, but try sending a text message at a Blazer game, or getting on Facebook/etc/etc and posting. NOT going to happen. Their towers were/are overloaded and since everyone and their mom has ATT because of the previous Iphone exclusivity, you get shit on.

I left ATT before they got LTE for phones, and my buddy says their LTE network seems to have increased the ability to get "out" during sporting events. But I am just not convinced yet.

I switched to Verizon, and when It shows i have data, I HAVE DATA and can actually do stuff!!

finally, the other reason why I switched to Verizon is because of the coverage and specifically the coverage at Mt Hood Meadows. I snowboard 2-3 times a week in the Winter so its imperative that I have LTE up there, which I do, 5 full bars. ATT/TMobile has 3G if you are lucky to even get that.
