    I don't see KP doing a big trade with the Blazers.

    But I also see Bird taking back more control of the team if KP doesn't come up with a plan to improve the team quickly.

    KP is the one making calls and proposing deals. Bird is the one who gives the approval to any deal. I'm not sure the Blazers have a person in the position of Bird in the front office. Chris McGowan isn't basketball-focused, and Olshey seems to run the basketball side. Is Paul Allen the final approval?

    I believe in the draft he his. He seems to be really into it. I'm not sure on other player transactions.

    Between Bird and Walsh, I wonder how much KP does there, or what his actual role is.
